Hi guys, i'm trying to set a filter on an attribute of a module but i cannot get it to work. The attribute is a custom Enumeration Type ("MyEnum") and this is the code i tried: Baseline b = baseline(47,0,"BL_Name") current = load(current,b,true) load view "Default View" string str= "hello" Filter f1 = includes(attribute "MyEnum", str) set(current,f1); filtering on;
It works if str is equals to one of the Enumeration values but i'ld like to use a regex and not the exact value. Is it possible? i tried with the following code too, but without success. Filter f1 = contains(attribute "EyEnum",myregex,false,true) Doors version 9.5 Thanks pasco84 - Mon Jan 09 11:29:06 EST 2017 |
Re: Use of Regular Expressions in Filters Tried to use "contains" filtering with a reg expression on an enumerated type and my DOORS client responded with a DXL error: The value '[Oo]perati.*' is not valid for type 'Lifecycle Phase'

Re: Use of Regular Expressions in Filters pasco84 - Tue Jan 10 02:54:23 EST 2017 Hi PekkaMakinen, this is the same error i have using contains. And that error message means that is is not possible to filter enumerated attributes with a contains filter using regular expressions. |
